I am having trouble opening a projection screen?

I just received a Quarted 550S projection screen. It says in the instructions to press the red button at the top of the center tube, but I can’t get the red button to go in. Any suggestions? Am I missing something that would make it easier?
Thanks.

You probably need to pull up on the top extension tube while you are pushing the button – you may need to wiggle the tube while you do this. It should extend. Trying pulling the button if that doesn’t work.
Projection screens can be a bit tricky to set up the first time. Once you figure it out, it is easy.
